International students are provided with the following exemptions:
During their studies:
- students do not need authorization to work if they hold a “student” residency permit.
- students are entitled to work a maximum of 60 percent of the annual work year or a total of 964 hours.
After their studies:
- students who will receive a Master’s degree may work for a period of six months after they have completed their studies.
- students, who wish to work after their studies, must obtain a receipt form for a period of six months.
- students will receive a “salaried” residency permit if they find a job that pays more 1.5 times more than minimum wage.
