Particular cases (French scholarship,French baccalauréat etc.) Simplified procedure!

This procedure applies to the individuals who are going to France as part of the student mobility program, French Grant holder, French baccalauréat holders (within the 4 past years), doctoral studies, research etc.

The procedure regarding interuniversity exchange applies to the following candidates:

  • Students, admitted to the program through an exchange program and who were selected by both the parent (Canadian) and host (French) institutions.
  • Students admitted through an exchange agreement, selected by the parent institution and who will, therefore, will be welcomed by the host institution.

Attention: You do not qualify for the simplified procedure if your exchange does not lead to a national diploma. Your courses must be recognized and accredited by your university; therefore, you must follow the normal application procedure, complete with interview.

Register on the CampusFrance Canada Web site.

Complete and validate the CampusFrance form online.

CampusFrance Form
Once you have accessed your personal page, complete the “CampusFrance Form” section. Under the “My Activities” section, a minimum of two activities are required to validate the section. Click on the + icon to select one of the following:

-   High school (secondary) studies (applicants are not required to upload their diploma)
-   graduate studies (for your exchange) You can upload your scanned exchange participation letter, as proof of your exchange, a proof of your French Grant etc. under the “Graduate studies” activity.

Applicants must complete and validate each section of the form, i.e. courses, language, motivations, etc. before proceeding to the final validation.

My Procedures
Applicants must complete and validate the “My Procedures” section online; search by institution with the following criteria: outside catalogue/outside consortium/first year; select the “outside catalogue” or “hors catalogue” line and fill out both fields with your cooperation program information (name of the school in France, dates etc).

Visa Application
Complete your visa application and make an appointment via the French Consulate Web site. Applicants are exempt from making a deposit for pedagogical activities, the CampusFrance application fee and the preliminary visa application interview.
